Who are you? Mark Hitri | #fwppLead1 | http://wp.me/P71Qvi-3CI
I started cooking at a Dairy Queen in 1989 just long enough to buy a bass guitar and amplifier. Between gigs I continued working in kitchen and landed at the Worthington Hotel in the mid 90’s and pestered every chef in every department to learn as much as I could. In 2000 I was the chef that opened Sapristi! Bistro and Wine Bar named the #4 new restaurant of the year and where I also met my wife. After spending a year there I went on to work at various places ranging from The Speedway Club at Texas Motor Speedway to the Deli counter at Roy Pope Grocery. One of the highlights of my career was the 3 years at Saint-Emilion Restaurant where it was named the #1 ZAGAT rated restaurant in the metroplex. The wide range of culinary experiences I have had makes me well suited to be an instructor at the The Culinary School of Fort Worth. I am also interested in music and martial arts and encouraging others to live out their passions.
